This "you're americans" reminded me that some years ago we could think (in greece), well, this is america (US) anyway. Now? My co-citizens in greece are afraid of the same things. We have a situation here in Northern Ireland where there was quite a bit of religious discrimination in the past - advertisements read "Catholics neeed not apply" very similar to the racial discrimination in the states in the 50's & 60's. Now the make up of a workplace must be similar to the local community ( 55% / 45% - Protestant / Catholic). Even the police force has had positive discrimination to bring up the number of catholics (during the troubles very few catholics joined the police force as they would have been targetted by the paramilitaries). Again - ability is being sidelined for minority promotion - I believe people should be employed on merit - not their ethnicity or religion. Northern Ireland is a superb place to live but the sectarianism is still pretty bad and these Equal Opportunity Laws provide some protection to the individual but common sense seems to have been left out of it.

I have a 9600 GT (1Gb ram) and Lumion works pretty fine on it. Certainly not the most modern card of course (and I also have a 32 bit XP - and Lumion is coming out on a 64 bit version soon so I should really upgrade my system and HW as well)

A question or two for Massimo and Andre51: Where are you getting your images from? Can you make longer seamless images? There are patterns in the grain that repeat along the length of the grain that wouldn't in reality. I guess it would be alright for synthetic laminates. The pattern will still repeat much like slip matched veneer but at least it wouldn't repeat along the length of the grain. Or you could mirror alternating "boards" and get book matched veneer. For older devices, as long as the ports physically exist on the network, a virtual pc with the required OS, and app, should do the job. I have a lot of ancient stuff my network.

My set of soft I usually use: Unfold3D - Very nice tool for UV mapping. Funny, when I tried to find a link to it's offical site I relized that now it's called RizomUV, but I use Unfold V10 Artec Studio - As I use a 3d scanner I need a software for it. Really great to use but damn resource intensive. Substance Painter - Tried differen texturing software - ended up with Substance. Marmoset Toolbag - I use it as finakl render, and sometimes for baking normals. In sone cases it gives the best results..

Charly and edson. If only your system could be automated. Maybe it would be possible to have some sort of description manager script that would take a short description each rb. maker puts inside the plugin and add to a document like a spreadsheet. Each time you download an rb. or run the script it updates your ruby descriptions, which could have links. This would be outside of SU I guess, not a real manager. (Not a programmer myself)
