There are a ton of assets available from a ton of places out there but good skp formatted assets are hard to find, the 3D warehouse does not normally have good enough quality for my needs. So it's normally a case of finding what I need , downloading and converting. Skimp and Transmutr work great when the downloaded asset is an obj or fbx but what if it's .max, .c4d?
There is a service many folk need, converting from these formats to skp IMO.
I honestly do not really understand your post, Is there a question or just a rant?
You teach landscape design, please update your profile as it says you are an interior designer.

Somehow weird! What is the reason behind?
Ferrari tired of seeing their expensive cars in driveways of shitty models?
I'm not a Mac user, hope someone jumps in and helps.

There is an updated version in the store, it is free
Some great results, cool.
For me the biggest issue looks like it's not fully integrated like Thea, Vray or Enscape, I may be wrong as I have not downloaded the trial. I just cannot work in 3rd party mode, I need my changes in SU to be instantly updated in render app as smoothly as possible.
The software for rent thing is still not a happy thing for me either.
It's time to upgrade, I know i want 64GB ram, RTX 2080ti and high clock speeds, I work mostly with GPU for renders and animations, so priority is there, but do I choose Intel or AMD?
Anyone here have an i9 9900k? or AMD Ryzen 7 3700x that can give some info so I can make a choice.

You know how to rub salt into the wounds
Not at all, I am just wondering if plugin releases are done elsewhere like Facebook, as there are many active groups out there.
As for the frequency of new plugins, that is something I cannot be sure of, possibly the loss of SU make/free has a lot to do with it and the general decline of SU, as the online version is rather lackluster.
I have been on this site for over a decade, I have seen the rise of the plugin, I remember when there was a new plugin every week.
I cannot remember the last new plugin here, is there another place they releasing them?
Is it just me, or do you feel a fizzle out?
I would normally just model this if it was a small section, but I need 2 miles of cartoon fencing which will be on a very organic terrain, Profile builder is the best for this I assume, but I cannot seem to get my head around how to do this.
This is what I want it to look like, I need more variety than just 2 uprights, almost if the uprights can be randomized.
Great stuff, looks like a ton of fun.
Where are you located?
So, as an American observer, what happens after Oct 31?
How will leaving the EU improve your life and family?
What is the first thing your government is going to do that the EU prevented you from doing?
SU 2018 pro, but not using it as much as before, Cinema 4D and Blender are slowly taking over the SU chores.

Also when the girlfriend puts on that stupid Love Island on TV I can sit there in blissful VR ignorance.
Oy! do not be dissing Love Island, I did a ton of work on that show, but yeah, I'd never watch it either.

IT works with unreal. Process is the same as for the Oculus go - Just with a bit more power. THE big plus to me is untethered, 6dof and reasonable good power (maybe 1/10 of a grx 1060)
Yeah, that's the problem, I need to run heavy models with decent resolutions, I need a beefy 1080ti at the minimum for smooth navigation, untethered means no beefy GPU.
But as gaming goes online I think the Quest is ready for a VR gaming revolution.
I do not think Quest will work with Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion or Unreal, am I wrong?
Hey Oli, long time..
Why the Quest and not the Rift?
Is the Rift not more powerful for 3D VR apps and PC based where Quest is Android based, only advantage I can see is the Quest is untethered right?
It's a limitation that can be overcome, make it 10 or better 100 times bigger, then reduce it back, it will work.
