You could put your component libraries somewhere that doesn't require permission changes. Make a folder in My Documents or if you have a second hard drive, put the folder there.

Best would be to install the Sketchucation Extension Store tool under Resources at the top of this page. Then use it to install extensions hosted here.

There's also FredoSpline which has more options than the older Bezier Spline.

good deal...I was worried I would have to relearn/unlearn etc.

The reason I ask is that I am using randompushpull.rb and wasn't sure if I selected an entire subdivided face including all of the associated edges in that subdivided face that it would make a difference on how the script worked or the resulting elements....but in testing it appears there is no difference.

The panels made by the manufacturer are 6x8 6x16 and 6x24 the first two sizes are for outside corners. the 6x24 is for the field. The models I am making are of dimensions that would require modification to 50% of the components. I think a script for segmenting the faces and random push pull is the ticket.

I certainly see no impact to the regular forum.

In fact regular membership uptake is higher than ever. Most don't need to participate because the answer is already here in some form.

Moved the thread to the Developer's forum. We have reorganized so that the Plugin section is only a list of plugins you can download and use. 🤓

I went through the cutlist.rb instructions again on my project and it works great. I had to move a number of component axis. Thanks.

Thanks...Got it...the .dat will also print to a notepad. For some reason Adobe was saying the file was damaged. (I exported it to a new location)
