Premium Membership

I'm wondering if the recent premium membership drive is going to degrade the quality and participation of the board in general. I'm sure the principles involved haven't seen a decrease in activity but...it seems to be slowing down a bit. I've seen this before...or am I imagining things?

I do not think so. At least as far as I am concerned, on the forums, I do not make difference in answering questions (when I have time and know the answer that is).
There are other areas where we "expand" and where Premium Members can enjoy benefits.

Hope not..I really like this site. I send people here all the time...or try to.

Look, a forum is a "community driven" place. It's worth as much as its members "put" in. I cannot influence this amount - neither anyone "interested" in this whole premium membership.
There are more than 170,000 members here. If just 1% is helpful and keeps the forum and its spirit alive (adding value to the place in any way), everyone is a winner here.

I certainly see no impact to the regular forum.
In fact regular membership uptake is higher than ever. Most don't need to participate because the answer is already here in some form.
Google Analytics is showing very healthy activity throughout the site.
