Hi folks. SU cannot close a face when one side is less than 1 mm approx (1/16 inch). Of course, with a 4 mm diameter sphere you will end up with very small facets and these will not close. Simply pretend that your sphere is 400 mm in diameter and then, after you have drawn it, scale it down by a factor of 0.01. Just ideas.

Sure you can do that but in this cas you could also insert a semi transparent png image overlay into any LO page as well. Certainly a built-in watermark solution (just like in SU) would be the ideal, ultimate solution.

You can do it with the icon in the screenshot. [image: Q6xI_answer.png] However you can only see this icon when you are in a topic that you started (i.e. you asked something). Moderators can see the icon everywhere - so I can mark any answer as solving the problem. I am not sure where the settings are now but I guess we should somehow hack the plugin so that at least "Top SketchUcators" could also mark answers best.

I saw this software a while back in a CAD magazine and contacted the company to see if there was any planned future support for Sketchup. I was basically told there was not enough of a request for it. They did say if there was enough interest it might be something they would consider supporting. I do know people who use it and swear by it. I don't think that shadows or lighting can be exported to PDF from any application, I understand that it is limited strictly to it's own lighting features. I am not wuite sure, but I think that 3D PDF does not have a shadow casting option. Shadows in SU are raster features generated by ýour graphics card and there is no way to export them in vector form. Anssi
