SketchUp 8, Win7 32 - freezing too.

I see - thanks for the explanation. Just noticed this and wanted to be sure it is not a bug.
I noticed reversing an arc makes it curve - it is not arc anymore. Is that the way it works?

The algorithm used to use recursion to find a route through the edges and that cause a stack overflow. Now all the algorithms work using simple loops.

Yes, the idea of dynamic components is brilliant and with an enormous potential , but it needs more work and refinement. Sometimes SketchUP gets very buggy with complex DC and when You start mixing a lot of them it's even worse. I found that for me it is easier to modify by hand than faithing with that complexity.
I'm getting a bugsplat when trying to reverse a curve with more segments - like arc with 120 segments.
Thanks, Jim. There are not so many people to give us first hand experience with CNC and SketchUP. And that is bogging many users that love SketchUP and want to use it for machining.

It happens when using groups instead of components - the parts inside cabinets are groups. When everything is components there is no problem with renderings.
