Seems to me that for anyone wanting to use Substance Painter this will be unbelievably useful. That's why I'm anxiously waiting for it.

Maybe you could achieve desired results by working inside a model component (entire model as a component) with multiple instances of that component all rotated about 90 degrees (top / front / L-side etc.). This workflow is very flexible. Assign different layers to each of these instances and work with scenes to view either one / two / three / four / or whatever number of "views" of your model.
Clever idea

I'm really thrilled about this plugin.
One thought though.
Personally I don't have anything against it but I think the name WrapR might be a bit to cryptic for a lot of people.
At least consider a more descriptive name.UnWrapR

RE: SubD examples and models
Considering all that you have already provided in the practical use of these new tools I feel somewhat guilty in asking you to do the same step-by-step tutorial for the creation of your sports bra. It may not seem so to you, but for numb-noses like me these tuts are REALLY, REALLY helpful.
I've spent so many years using SU with the native tools and Ruby plugins/extensions that I'm finding it more than a little difficult re-structuring my workflow. At this point it's not obvious that the quad workflow is better/faster. I'm trusting in all of you "quad guys" that, in the long run, the quad workflow is the "way of the future".Thank you again for your great explanations.

This is the stuff that has distracted me from the PB2 beta testing. It's not fair for these guys to dangle M&Ms in front of a chocoholic

RE: [Plugin] Import OBJ with Materials v2.1 20131118
I purchased a model in .obj format from Turbosquid. Within the OBJ folder are .obj files and .mtl files. In addition to the OBJ folder there is a TEXTURES folder containing .tif files.
I've tried several ways to import the model into SU. The only time anything was actually imported was when I used "Import as Mesh", but some of the model was missing (size=feet) and there were no textures or materials.
The Cortaderia_variant1.obj file contains identification of the .mtl file:
