@trogluddite said: ...when it comes to testing and de-bugging, this is the bee's knees. Thanks for your comments! Glad to hear you like the editor. I'll look into your suggestions but - as you said - the display just naturally becomes slower with 100's of lines of code simply because it renders everything in JavaScript. Not sure if #3 is already implemented in CodeMirror somehow... have to look. Cheers, Alex

@Alex: I see Sketchfab has a page with your plugin, ... Did you solve this issue ?? I did find this page that has interesting reading, although the samples use GET. Cross-Origin XMLHttpRequest So I wonder if this might work when "allow actions from host" were true?

For unzip some files in the same time use this But normaly CTRL + a --> Extract here in a folder must extract all zipped files in one pass ! With WinRar there is no problem! But if some files have same names better extract in separated folder (asked by WinRar)

I also have a simple template I use for my plugins. It is a little more tailored to my suite of plugins, but I have been meaning to put together a generic one like this. I think it looks great Alex. I have a few little things that I have been playing with that I'll try to get posted into this thread later today maybe. Chris

The nsetSketchupApi plugin is in a separate topic reserved for downloading, updates and technical questions and answers. Another topic "[WebDialog]Behind nsetSketchupAPI" starts a discussion on the potential of such an approach. But here I just want to thank Alex and Jim for prompting the development of an alternative type to Alex's cheat sheet; one that is based on animating words in a small machine-like interface rather than more familiar digital versions of paper pages. Most of all though I must thank Jim, ungenerously described as code adviser in the files, for teaching me about json, easing and all these things, but mostly for how to turn my cavalier code into something understandable and stable. Thanks Chris

@pbacot said: Yes, thanks for the post. It made me look into this sort of work again. Perhaps you are aware that there is an energy analysis free plug-in for SU (among other related options): http://www.iesve.com/Software/Model-Building/SketchUp-plug-in Yep, you are right, this can be done without Revit. Another option is to import a 3D model into Ecotect directly. I just wanted to show how one can re-use a SketchUp model in Revit for such a thing. @mike lucey said: I imagine in these times of drastic unemployment in the architectural / engineering sectors this could be an employment possibility. Actually seeing were the energy leaks are, adds a new perspective in the awareness department! And seeing this via SketchUp interactive interface Yes, now is a good time to strengthen "green capabilities"... @mike lucey said: I wonder is there much capital involved in setting up equipment / training wise? I am not 100% sure on the cost of the IR (FLIR) camera that I used but I believe it is around $12,000. Not cheap equipment, I know. I believe these cameras can be rented, too, but I don't know where. Cheers, Alex

I think that the built-in require_all method doesn't load anything other than *.rb files in the given folder. My snippet in the other thread made it do sub-folders too...
