Hi Mitcorb, hi folks. I agree that it could be a nice addition. For example, a "Selection" button added to the "Model infos --> Statistics" that would activate only when something is selected. Clicking on this button would update the infos to thoses in the selection. Then the buton would show "Whole model" instead of "Selection" to allows the user to switch back to the statistics for the whole model. Similar to a toggle switch. Just ideas.

try pointing your mouse to an object modeled, when the mouse is not working is because you're using the mouse on an empty part of the drawing.

Hi folks. Another workaround is : 1 - Group the welded curves to avoid damaging them with additional geometries. 2 - Add an edge between the two points where you want to attach a dimension line. 3 - Add the dimension using either the edge or its endpoint. 4 - Delete the edge, keeping only the dimension. 5 - If required, explode the group. Just ideas.

Cool. I never really know if I am explaining what needs to be explained or something else, trivial and well known thing.

I didn't see any performance benefit in assigning SU to one core (the test model still degraded when orbited at the same level of complexity whether SU was assigned to one core or not) which is disappointing - with turbo mode on there is supposed to be a 75% increase in processing power on one core in this machine.

@tim said: Here it is anyway - modified Housebuilder.rb with the door sizing fixed to compensate for the rough opening offset I downloaded HouseBuilder.rb. Should HouseBuilder_extension.rb be removed from the plugins folder?

@gaieus said: There is this same difference with expandable and non-expandable nested components. I think it was Chris who brought it up on that other forum why we cannot have collapsed components in the browser when the child components only exist nested in parents? It would be logical and very comfortable as tiny bits would not pollute your valuable work space. Yes - I'd really like to see the user (and developers via the API) to be able to control which components are expanded (internal) or not. Would make organizing a model so much easier.

@frv said: I was trying to use the soapskin & bubble tool but it does only seem to generate a flat surface. After that the tools seem not to have any effect. Maybe someone can help me see what I am doing wrong. Tx Francois you have to enter pressure values ( neg or pos) to get the surface to inflate

Well, hand-stitching indeed takes a looot of time. However, Extrusion tools by TIG is worth having in any case - an entire suite that makes a life easier. Something in there will suit your needs, for sure. Hope you have a nice weekend too!
