We started recently working on an Android option. We already verified that all the components we need are ready. But this work is still in early stages. It will need some time to be ready.

OK, thanks Adam. I like this web viewer more and more. Will there be plugins for other browsers too (Opera, Chrome etc.). I hope it's not an extremely big effort to port it to other browsers, too, once the core is working.

Ah, thanks. That's exactly what I need. Move, Copy, and Rotate was all I ever used. Come to think of it, I may have had the trial version before, but when the month ended it just kept working.

if you want flash and don't want to learn it... try Swish. it accomplishes the same thing at a very low cost and very low learning curve. http://www.swishzone.com/index.php

Hi: Ive been doing a bit of research on this subject as well. My findings: There appear to be four sources to convert SU 3D to 3D for viewing by othgers, clients, etc. The SimLab option that someone else mentioned at around $100. Very simple to use and the fact that anyone who has a recent Acrobat reader (8 or later, I believe) can rotate the model, turn on or off lighting, do basic measurements, etc. Nice and simple, but not many bells and whistles. eDrawings has a viewer, (free) and pro at around $100, that has more options, but requires a eDrawings viewer (which can be packaged into a single executable). Al Hart's (and associates) iNextRender has one that is attached to their render machine, I believe. Finally, Hypercosm which has a free and pro (around $200. This also requires a viewer or a player, but the viewer can be downloaded fro free as an applet for your browser. Hypercosm Pro, though not recently updated (I think) is the most sophisticated, permitting a 'client' to do more re viewing options. Hope this adds to your dilema! Robert

Try this: http://www.vray.com/vray_for_sketchup/manual/transparency_mapping_in_vray_for_sketchup.shtml It's not exactly what you need, but it takes you through the steps.

Hello finalepkom, good to hear from you. @finalepkom said: i would like to ask you about removing the limit time, can i remove it? You are using the Demo version of the ARplugin. The Demo version does not allow to change the time limit in the AR visualization. This can only be removed by using the PLE (that is FREE) or Pro/Pro lite versions. In order to get to it, you have to buy/register for the software download it activate the license following installation/activation instructions @finalepkom said: and i can't loaded my video in ARMedia, whereas i already export video with .avi and support codec pack DiVX.. as results, just plane 3D when i chose object video..what should i do to make my video can be loaded when ARMedia ruuning? I'm not sure that I'm getting the point here. If you mean that you add the video but it does not show during the AR visualization then you probably don't have Quick Time installed. Please check and let me know. By the way you can always drop us an email via help[at]inglobetechnologies[dot]com or take a look at the ARmedia Support Forums here http://www.inglobetechnologies.com/forum/ Hope this helps Regards Graziano

There's lots of buttons not working within VfSU. They where added by ChaosGroup core - and not the VfSU department.

make sure you don't have photon map selected as a primary rendering engine. it can render unexpectedly dark (black) results in your primary render, when it shows up fine in the secondary. if that is not the thing causing the problem... make a ticket at support at asgvis dot com.

nice, good to hear! neither of those two factors would be a deal breaker for me. do you have a twitter, blog, facebook, etc set up to track the progress or would it be best to just follow this thread?

Solid Thinking is great piece of software. It is nurbs modeller with fantastic history layering system. I am not aware of ability to import directly SU. I was considering it for my product designers but decided on SolidWorks instead. I am finding that nurbs and meshes from SU are not always compatible. SU can produce meshes with a lot of small holes which for instance Rhino can import but model is usually not very useful. With Rhino there is comand to covert meshes to nurbs but topology is not always predictable. So better way to import SU models to SolidWorks and Rhino is via T-splines with corrected topology in 3d Coat. If the purpose of the modeller is product design I would not bother with SU. Small details create problems in meshes. OK I know you can scale it up and than reduce but still ... I would model in industry standard software such as SolidWorks , Engineer Pro, Solid Thinking etc.... If you want model architecture SU is good enough or if you want high poly and better quality model than try Rhino. It is very intuitive and very powerfull software. It produces clean geometry good enough for production and you can render with Thea or Vray ....Sorry for moving away from the main topic...
