    Hello!

Does anybody have any ideas why V-Ray miss the sharp shadows when rendering more objects?
I have a model and it renders badly when it's full amount of objects. When I clean up it very much (delete almost all objects inside) it appears good (the way I want it - with sunlight and sharp shadows).

There are no memory errors in the render progress window.
All the settings are exactly the same in both renders, all materials also. The only difference is the number of objects. It doesn't matter if I use Photon Map, DMC (as here) or LC - it's the same at all of those.

The quote from first render progress:

Allocating memory for build data of 438094 faces (12266632 bytes, 11.7 MB).
    Initializing face build data.
    Creating 'done' event.
    Starting first thread.
    Waiting for thread completion.
    Releasing thread resources.
    Preparing faces for intersection tests.
    SDTree statistics;
Total number of faces stored; 438094
    Max tree depth; 39
    Average tree depth; 22.4582
    Number of tree nodes; 103245
    Number of tree faces; 1140888
    Number of tree leafs; 44495
    Average faces/leaf; 25.6408
    Memory usage; 27.16 MB

And the quote from the second:

Allocating memory for build data of 45478 faces (1273384 bytes, 1.2 MB).
    Initializing face build data.
    Creating 'done' event.
    Starting first thread.
    Waiting for thread completion.
    Releasing thread resources.
    Preparing faces for intersection tests.
    SDTree statistics;
Total number of faces stored; 45478
    Max tree depth; 35
    Average tree depth; 21.5379
    Number of tree nodes; 12525
    Number of tree faces; 130805
    Number of tree leafs; 5635
    Average faces/leaf; 23.213
    Memory usage; 3.66 MB

    Thank you in advance!

Edit: forgot to add that V-Ray ver. is 1.05.30 and Sketchup 7.

Not to state the obvious, but have you considered upgrading to the latest VRay version? I've never seen that problem, but I wouldn't be surprised if the newest version cleared it up without figuring out the root cause.
