    • Move, Copy, Rotate

There used to be a free RPG plugin that would let you move, rotate, or copy something or a single axis by a specified amount you typed into the plugin window. I can't find the thing on their website any more except as part of a larger package you can buy.

Are there any other similar plugins? Never understood why Sketchup didn't just add this functionality.

    • RE: Are RP Tools available free?

Ah, thanks. That's exactly what I need. Move, Copy, and Rotate was all I ever used. Come to think of it, I may have had the trial version before, but when the month ended it just kept working.

    • Are RP Tools available free?

I haven't used SketchUp in a while, and I had the RPTools plugin on my old computer, and I'm finding it difficult to work without their Move tool. I think I had a pared down version of their tools for free, because I wouldn't use most of them, but I can't seem to find that available now.

Ah, I see. Make the trim before I intersect with the building.

Awesome, thanks for all the responses.

Hmm, not following you. That seems to get me to where I was before. I still can't figure out how you did the trim around the window.

Apparently I don't know how to use the image tag either.

    • How to make a recessed window on a curved surface

I’m trying to make an underwater base with a retro 70’s feel and a lot of curved surfaces, but I ran into the limit of my SketchUp skills pretty fast.

I made the window in the front by intersecting a big cube with rounded corners and then cutting the window out and shifting it back a bit. But I don’t know how to connect it to the building or add trim or anything to it. There must be a more graceful way to approach this.
