Hi Robert, I'm not able at all to help this translation.. But here are some additional links to this wonderful stadium taken from here Here is a chinese Sketchup model of the National Stadium of Pekin National Stadium_v0.skp which is dealing with that sort of questions and is very interesting to dismount... [image: h_4_ill_1019818_pekin-stade.jpg] (taken from: archINFORM) I have worked on it for a friend who was asking me quotations, cause he was to install a "Spider Cam" on it for a manifestation... The materials are all "tweaked" already for Twilight Render. When you save such a model, these settings are saved with it and are even maintained when you upload the model to the 3D Warehouse.

Good tutorial. Another option to consider would be using TIG's Drape Cpoints and Triangulate Cpoints scripts ( http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=21379 ). You'll end up with a uniform level of detail unlike what you have in your tutorial but it may be a tad faster method. -Brodie

Hi, I edited your post title to reflect the question your asking. Phrases like 'I need help' aren't very descriptive. Also CAPITAL letters are considered shouting so I changed that also. As for your question, have you tried Artisan? Or TIG's Extrusion Tools? Or Fredo's CurviLoft?

I've found that using sketchup to model building from CAD files a -GREAT- way of finding issues with cad plans. I usually model each floor as a group and then stack them. Its a lot easier to see where walls don't line-up 100% or where certain details are missing in elevation from a 3D model than from trying to line-up cad drawings.
