How come I can't see the Flash? All I see is a white area. I have Adobe flash 9 installed.
I'm using XP home and Firefox.
It will surely be fixed soon, Joe. Coen has just moved the stuff from one board (subfolder of the domain) to another one. I have already reported him the problem.
Thanks for watching, though...
This SuWiki video tutorial includes instructions on how to set the rotation center when creating the 'face me' component:

I agree... layers. And layer sets.
As for images from SU, export larger than the size you are going to print/post and then resize. Your images will be much more clear.
In all the years I've been around carpentry I've never heard that one, good call Eric.
Although not as sophisticated as the dovetail joint, the box joint is equally as strong but much less complicated to make and has a more utilitarian feet to it.

. . . that site will go dead soon...
thanks
I must be missing something. Google's 3D warehouse closing down? Or have you found that links to it don't last?
What am I missing?
personally, I gave up on the component cutting feature.
I preffer to just take a measure of the component, cut the walls myself (when drawing or after extruding the walls to 3D) and just put the component on the ready hole.

Thanks Coen, a different way of doing it...much appreciated.
um...on a serious note however, a banana model and you in a tree...??? people are gonna talk!
I tried that a few times, Alan. But, as you can see on the screenshots, there is usually a gap between the copied edges and the curve due to the way SU creates arcs.

Hi Gidon. Ignore my PM to you I was able to download this today. Thanks for the help. The funny thing is I just used that technique for a wrap around graphic on a display, but I just didn't connect the scenarios.
Cheers
