    V8.0 is released https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=2Dtools Or via the ExtensionStore dialog. It fixes a glitch with v2026 whereby some MAC users could not get the TAB key press/up to work to open dialogs in some tools, and some PC users had to press/up 4 times to make TAB work. But <=2025 users had no issues. I've now improved the onKeyUp methods to optimize TAB use in v2026, but it can still be flaky for some users. including me needing 4x press/up! So as an additional option I've added one press/up on the Shift key which will also open the dialogs, in certain tools like LineStyle and Hatching. The Help pages explain this dialog opening more fully. Please try and report back issues...

    Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

    Hey Mike, I'm sure you figured this out already, but when you first create the attribute type a number with the inch mark like 0" or 0' in the value box and hit enter. This will set the unit for that attribute to inches. This only works for the first time a value is entered. After that first initial value, you will need to use the attribute info dialog to make changes. In addition, you can use 0 to set it to text (not "Default: Text") and 0cm to set it to centimeters. If anyone knows a shortcut for setting the unit to Decimal Number, I would love to hear it!

    TIG's right; House builder is the only one that comes to mind. Or seing you use GOH's 1001Bit tools why not just use the "create rafters or joists on selected face' tool. Only difference is you're selecting a vertical face with a bit of clean up.....

    It's impossible to say what is happening with your DWG file contents without taking a look inside the file(s) themselves. One common error is that a file contains objects that were produced in an add-on, like the walls and other construction objects created with AutoCad Architecture (previously called Architectural Desktop). These must be converted into standard AutoCad 3D geometry in the originating application before importing them into SketchUp. When importing, SU also ignores entities that do not form geometry, like text and dimensions, imported images and hatches. SU version 7 cannot read the latest (2010) DWG file format. Anssi

    This is a very old forum.. however if anyone is still interested in SketchUp and BIM, here is a solution: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=41840 The plugin provides an easy way to create parametric primitives like walls, beams, columns etc inside SketckUp. It follows a standard process-flow similar to popular BIM software like Revit. best! Dex

Steps to use less men : When you want a plugin use ruby console loader.     hi, as well as Jim's advice. once imported you can change it however you want. You posibly want the 'Smooth and Soften/Edges' options, available from right-click,while editing inside the group/component or Window Menu . but without a link or image it's hard to give specific advice. john

    Well, that's not an easy thing to answer. Technically ANY "importer" does exactly what you're asking. It all just depends on what format your data is in. Have you created any standards for your data attributes?

    I tried out FAK today on Vista SU 8 M2 The tool (FAK [FollowMeAndKeep]) you refer too. works well with helix spring for a slide. Good ideal. I also agree with you all now about the curve problem. [image: eTt2_pic_0007.jpg]
