A simple section slice would be fine, you don't need any detail just simple 2D outlines. One might be able to activate a plan view that sits in a corner or it could be in a separate window. Or make where and how the map shows up user selectable. The data is already there in the drawing, but how to tap it?

screw it! i just made a shortcut key instead. would still be nice to know though. thinking about it one would probably create a module or function with the jitter code (not sure of the correct term) then call the module with an onclick event.

Hi Diego, I do not know too much about that plugin either but it looks very similar in concept to Driving Dimensions - which has a commercial and a free version, too. [image: for_mac500.gif]

There are several point/cloud/triangulation tools - what do you want to do exactly - what are these 'points' ? a file some points or what ??? If you want help please be less cryptic.

Here it is TroubleshootingStyle.zip unzip it and put the '.style' file into the Styles folder: remember that you can add it as style to your default template so it's in every [new] model and then so you don't have to install it every time...

There is a duh moment for me, I hide and show stuff all the time when I am working on a model, never thought about hiding the model so I could see the center. At any rate I did one video show and it worked out OK. I wish I could find the best possible, set up for you tube. The link I posted for this thread was upload #3. I will practice and get better.
