For mac users, not advanced users I mean, here, its very fast no cuda though. Multiple UVs work fine in this one. http://www.graphicall.org/117 (watch out, OSX 10.6.7 only!)

@marked001 said: broomstick.. you're giving me too much credit. i did this in pshop... but that is actually a great idea An idea that I tried as soon as I saw your renders... to no avail: fog only works "upwards" it seems, and I was not able to replicate the effect you made there. I realized after writing my comment that it was photoshop... Nice images tho, very professional. Sometimes a nice model with clean lines and good colors is enough to convey one's idea

@tadema said: Thanks, the raw render output is below, the Ivy was just one leaf made into a component, moved, scaled ect. Not perfect but better than PS, all the plants-trees are PS. John Ah, excellent! Thanks for the info.

Hi Pete and Crankston, Thanks for your kind comments. Yes, it is often the case that you think the build should be relatively easy. The difficulties will only be visible later because you have considered but not all. Charly

Thanks all, the last image was a bit of an afterthought after so much tweaking with the render. I used a great little piece of software http://www.hdrsoft.com/download/win.html , it's for hdri but you can use 1 image or adjust the exposure in PS first for 3 or 5 bracketed images. Thanks John

great start, yamh. I really like the wallpainting! You might want to try a displacement map on the rug if your renderer allows it... which one are you using? And maybe either show a little less of the white floor, or add a bit of interest with a different texture

Pretty good, the water in the pool looks more like metal than water, however. Maybe if it were slightly more translucent than it would look more real. A simple bump-map might also help. Cheers,
