Hey Zach
Nice work
Can you tell us the technique you used
Thanks
Thanks, I had almost all parts already made from some of my previous bikes so i started with the frame and built onto it like you would a real bike.

Thanks guys. The bike is modeled after this one. Not completely identical but I didnt want to waste too much time perfecting it.
Just thought I would share my latest bike build... what do you think? It took quite a bit of work but i think it looks sick. The last pic is a render of the bike and a rider.

cool. did you build each component separately?
(also it would help if hidden geometry was turned on in wireframe, but do not worry!)
thanks for sharing.
Haha sorry about the wireframe not showing hidden geometry, I'm still pretty new to sketchup. And yes most of the components were built separately because I found it easier to build them and then import them into the model. Heres a few better shots of the crf.
Here is the CRF wireframe if that helps. I can get the kx one too if you want. You can download both of the bikes in the 3d warehouse if you like, just type in the name of the bike and it should show up. As for rendering, I tried kerkythea and didnt have a clue how to use it.

Very nice bikes and welcome, by the way. Are you familiar with any rendering programs? You could try rendering them.
No im not familiar with any. What is rendering?
Im new to this forum and thought I would post up i couple bikes I have been working on lately. 2010 CRF 450R and a 2011 Kawi 450F. Im pretty pumped on how well they turned out what do you think?
