@bmike said: 2 projects, same building for a family owned, fun bike shop that underwent an expansion. Steel cable rail using reclaimed bike parts and a stair rail using XC skis. The timber frame rail for the loft rail was in place, I purchased the steel cable and channel. The bike parts were recycled. For the stair rail, the timber was recycled and the skis came from customers and a pile of trade-ins from behind the shop. Hey!!!! is this bike/ski shop in the banf, Alberta region by any chance?

Very nice, xyz. I like the messy bed - gives it a realistic look. But, I'm concerned by your disregard for safety by using a step ladder so close to the balcony railing.

The model was originally shared by Frederik, his sister's kitchen I think, on the TwiLight forums. Maybe try over there.

cubist? What if each elevation or drawing was set off by an overall tone from an overlaid shape, contrasting with neighbors.

@cotty said: No, I did use the move/drag function from hugin for the correction. I don't use Photoshop for this. Thanks for sharing! I'll sure take a look into that software! See you!

Hello Aad, If you have one texture and Photoshop then you have hundreds! The two brick textures are the same, altered in PS. I use street view if I'm modeling an existing building only to view it. Street View Images are watermarked and IMO very low resolution. Hope this helps. John

Hey Tom! What a great mood! I'd very like to have a bath there! ...well not NOW, having you all seeing me and being so enthusiastic... Just to have an idea, mind to share the non post-produced render? The PODIUM out-of-the-box output?

The garage door is a standard 4-panel. That car could drive under the top two if the bottom two panels were removed.

Roger and Allan, thanks for your coments I really appreciate. Roger, I make that image a few years back, if you don´t mention that the Hotel not have watercolor texture, I had not have noticed you´re rigth. One of the firts things I like in sketchup, is that way to make NPR renders (whit Photoshop and Piranessi), but since some time ago, the clients prefer Photorealistc renders, and I had to change the way to I present the renders. But I always still like the NPRs. I post this image inspired in the work of Allanx. The work is not a WIP is a finally image because the proyect is finished (designed, planned and built). I wish have some time for improve the image.....I post this image inspired in the work of Allanx and I hope someday, achieve even a portion of their work. The color is way off, which is distracting, but as for the model itself, the texture orientation on the windows bothers me even more. I assume they're wood -- although the render texture isn't convincing -- but I would take a little time and align the texture with each portion (jamb, sill, header, etc) of the window. A little chamfer wouldn't hurt, either -- just too sharp looking right now. All that said, it's not a bad render -- those just the things I would recommend doing next time. Thanks for posting it.

Nice composition and style Edson, the only thing that I think needs improvement is the overall color. You can apply curves and hue/saturation in Photoshop to improve and highlight some areas in your design. allanx

Put a tall thin antenna at the top and it would look like a hypodermic needle which might be appropriate. Certainly lacking in mood. I hope the prices are not more than $5.00.
