By the time PVA glues get to that point, water won't do much for them. It's better not to disturb the glue and don't use so much that you get it running out of the joint away. Yes, if the right joints are used, you could get away without glue.

Thanks Chedda. Yes, the subdivision was to enable a little displacement on the building walls and ground. The house is raised up on a plinth as it's located in an area that suffers from periodic flooding, so there was always going to be a problem with the house being disconnected from the site. Personally I would have preferred to have seen the site softened with a lot of landscaping. All that stark space makes for a dramatic image, but I suspect that it's not easy to live with and could be quite isolating. A lush garden would balance that out I think.

A new use for FEMA trailers. I know that does not translate to Dutch. Don't worry, it is not even funny in the US.

Very sweet. The only thing I would offer is to shift the wood texture a bit on the three so the pattern is not an exact match.

Thanks Steve. Always loved the minimal and clear design of the pen, but didn't know that in 1979 it won one of the most prestigious (in Italy) design prizes. http://ftp.adi-design.org//xi-edizione-premio-compasso-d-oro-adi.html

@hellnbak said: Wow, you have been productive! Really like your work, especially the moodiness of some of them, the fog and the rain. One of them reminded me very much of "Blade Runner", a very moody film. Thank you very much, hellnbak. Yeah, it`s all about the mood for me.And the inspiration often comes from movies indeed

Nice work. I love the concrete work. As a painter I can tell you that using an off-white will help. Though it won't be pure white, it will still be "white" without being so bright. Or if you can manipulate the color just add a little black (just a touch) to shut it up a little. From what I see it seems to be an issue of color choice and material for the building. Try to stay away from primary or bright colors. You would be surprised what lighting will do so don't be afraid to go darker or dirty up a color in a paint program. Even just changing the wooden beam textures to darker wood with a bump map would make a big difference. Aside from the color choices on the building, the scene is very nice.

One thing that bothers me is the perspective, the vertical lines on the building all aren't vertical. Maybe try two point perspective. The three point perspective bugs me as well...almost always. Though I believe that Podium cant render a two point perspective. Thanks for your comments! ~e True Podium does not render 2point perspective but you can do lens correction in photoshop. Just quick try....literary less than a minute. [image: N8jg_03a.png]
