Elegant and practical. Well done. Love the style as well. (but yeah, the vacuum cleaner is way too small)

@qqq said: Looks very fresh and dynamic! How much time did it take for rendering/assembling video? Each frame was about 4 to 5 seconds and the hole animation I can't remember exactly but it felt like around 6 hours. For video editing I first tried Adobe Premier Pro and I could not make the resolution stay good since it compressed the video too much. On the other hand Windows Movie Maker did not altered the resolution which is good. The time for video editing was really fast no more than 2 hours. Thanks

I'm not a horror game fan but I did play both dead space games, in fact I'm too scared to finish the second game but yes I loved the games and great work on those reconstructions, exact replica

Lumion is great option…I have tried their objects animation tools and I am afraid it is quite limited. It works for basic stuff like moving cars for example. My favorite plugin for animating objects inside SketchUp is “SimFonIA Animation Tools”. It provides a record video option that compiles all the individual frames to a video automatically and you decide the resolution which is good. There is more than one way to animate for example you can use key frames for recording multiple component and subcomponents positions which enables you to keep layering animations one on top of the other to achieve a more complex animation easily. Also you can record vertex’s positions for animation using the Deformation option inside the key frame editor to create more organic animations. For more options you can animate using the “Transformation Processor” which has lots of options in itself. From the video you have posted correct me if I am wrong but it seems you have “LightUp” for rendering? If so the “LightUp” can display the first component layer animation but sadly not the subcomponents animations but I have received feedback saying they are working directly with LightUp and Twightlight to have more compatibility with the plugin, fingers crossed. Overall the tools inside “SimFonIA Animation Tools” will enable you to animate your Bridge very easy plus you can maybe add moving water, trees, clouds, birds and so on. The best part in my opinion is that somehow the animation stays with the object so you can share it with other people or reuse it in another SketchUp project, don’t know how that is possible but it is. The learning curve took me a couple of hours to figure out that in order to activate the animation input for the key frames you had to assign a name to the animation inside the transformation processor but after that it was all good.

Gorgeous image John, your use of texture is really unique and also so much in keeping with your models.I think your images are some of the best I have seen here, and they also carry a "signature" which is very much your own.

@cotty said: Nice examples of different shadows! One question: is there a reason why the walls in the shadows are not dark anymore when the soft shadows are applied (second image)? We added an option to show shadows on "shadows and surfaces in shade" or "shadows only" Basically, with the second option, surfaces which do not face the sun, and wold not be lit by the sun even if nothing else cast a shadow on them, are ignored for the second option. Here is a Sketchy Shadow version with shadows on "shadows and surfaces in shade". (Also I changed the scale on the hatch pattern to have more white space between lines) [image: bUSj_St-Antonius_Kirche_Bad_Wuennenberg-SKSH-l.png]

Hi, thanks - probably the screen makes a big difference - here, in my workplace it seems much more like you said, then in my home, where I created it. I guess I should calibrate all the screens I use . However - that was my goal, to make it look like a sunny day, where everything melts a bit in sunlight . I'm sure it could be done better, so any tips are most welcome! Mike
