            Some scale issues, plus no shadows. I think v ray can give you more.

              i think maybe the concept is there but the output is too plain, need more details like cloud at sky, background buildings, textures on plants, etc

              Sketchup 8 pro
              Vray

                well, my senior didn't require those clouds or shadows. he needed a clean output, not too much detailing. and may you elaborate on scale issue? πŸ˜’ This is a vray render. I just know about bumps and transparencies, tried learning about sky settings. but they are really tough to handle. takes a lot of time and hit and trial to set up.

                  I thought the planters & vegetation were oversized for the area, also on first glance i thought some of the plants were scaled too big, i can't see it now.

                    yes, shadows would very much help give yout render some depth. It doesn't look much different than what you can achieve with just a plain SU output. Maybe you can do only a shadow layer from SU and blend it in very lightly in photoshop.

                      how would i do it? won't the SU objects [in raw sketchup export] interfere with my vrayed render jpg file? how are shadows in isolation exported?
