your renderings have nice light quality. no hot spots...which is great! Couldnt gather much about architecture though. the mountain resort is a good attempt! Seems the tress and vegetaion was post processed I hope TBD incorporates support for PNGs in the next upgrade. what is the texture on the left roof?

Actually is it possible to render 2 point perspective as such. Also is it possible to render elevations. I know it is not possible to render SU section.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on Indigo, updates look promising. I might be getting an old Dell Precision Workstation 530 MT that I'll use as a spare machine to solely do renders. It only has one Xeon CPU (1.7 GHz) ATM, space for another, however I think it'll be quite difficult to source a CPU to fill the second ATM, not to mention some RDRAM (Rambus rimms) as it only has 512MB.

Thanks Shaun. This particular model is an oldie I have been tarting up to put on my website. The job has actually been built. It was an interesting job...the Clients were newly arrived Vietnamese with virtually no English. We communicated via translators [a different one every time] pointing at pictures and body gestures, nods and head shakes. In the end it was win/win all round. BTW if any Mods want to move this thread to the Gallery, please do. Stu

Ironic that I used to teach advanced Pro-E classes and didn't even think to start out with a skeleton model. Thanks monsterzero for your post and link to your website with great video showing "how to". I should add this to my very simple robot - the skeleton will make moving it into position - and back - much, much easier. Very nice models Rodentpete and monsterzero - I'm not in the same league but still having lots of fun.

Yeah, segmented geometry (however "simple" it may look) can really trick you. Just a couple of extrusions here and intersections there and you end up with a file size of a town...

nicely done It's amazing what a simple program an a clear idea can create. I agree on the trans-peeps having the steps alter thier color halfway down is distracting. Try moving them all the way to the top of the steps.
