Office hasn't upgraded to SU6 yet, 2 pt perspective has to be faked in photoshop... good guess though, exactly 60 degrees. These weren't originally intended for presentation, but client loved them... sorry for the tiny images, just trying to cover myself in protecting office "intellectual property." I don't think that any of you have any intention of using this material to make money, but my office has strict policy; so I avoid it by posting image that's not worth your time to try and market. Paul, I had a similar experience, I was really geting into K for a while but problem arose with large models . For simple things it was ok - I could open it in K and add some additional materials there but with large models there were pages of materials that came out - I didnt know what was what. I was really frustrated.

Tom, thanks. Yes, lighting would be crucial if I ever finish these. At the time, I didn't want to put too much time into them if the client wasn't going to pay for those views. So I presented them as "shells", no pretty stuff. But for portfolio sake, I'm going to revisit all of these drawings some day and finish/change them to the way I wanted them to be! LOL That's why I've come here to get advise and comments. Thank you all soooo much. I'm actually getting a hankering to work on these again.... in my spare time, ha-ha-ha.

I didn't understand what you wanted to tell me with the hungarian link. I am going to post a photo in the theatre thread with the actual capital. It will be about 230 kb at the moment, I did something wrong with the actual columns (they are too big, in fact I repeated them 3 times, I didn't know anything about components at that time ), so I can reach the 500 kb (but I don't think that happens).

That looks like the new SketchUcation HQ. Nice house, dark images but nice house! That North Arrow looks familiar too. Happy New Year dude.

Wonderful images. I really like the night image. Is it possible that the train is simply to small. If I look at the size of the floor tiles and compare it size of the train it kind of becomes obvious.

Ross - better watch out because the last couple of months melamine has been showing up in the food supply. Being a pet owner, you likely took notice of the huge story about a month ago where tonnes of pet food had been recalled, and was killing off dogs (mostly, I understand) and cats. The reason was that the wheat gluten that was supplied from China had melamine in it. This is a little worrysome, as wheat gluten is in many products, and I wonder how long a form of your cups will end up in my food? <I don't remember hearing that your dog(s?) had any health problems, and I would almost guess that you buy organic for them anyways?> cheers (oh and thanks for the response. For some reason, I wasn't thinking that you meant the inside of the glass closest - but yeah, that's caustics as I understand 'em. About the ground, I thought it actually looked quite good, the splotches on the right side looked like K artifacts to me though - but perhaps X was the "culprit" I had a quick question as to what a High Dynamic Range Probe is? I don't really understand how VUE (my renderer of choice) handles HDRI's - I just know it works, but I would generally insert an image for VUE to get the sense of lighting direction and brightness from - I wonder what a "probe" is? I'm with you, Will, I too like the soft warmth of this image. You might try pulling just a little form out of the people with your light/dark brush...seems to pacify my "look like billboards" nemesis. (Getting picky, 'cause this image deserves the best, I think the kids group would set down in space better if moved forward off the white patch of carpet.) Really nice, thanks for sharing. Best, Tom.
