Scale everything x10, explode/paste in place etc, relocate circles so they'll intersect with 'walls' and not clash with other stuff, then pushpull circles through walls, intersect with context, delete unwanted edges and faces, hide edges you don't want to see, scale x0.1 etc gives this... [image: TsCB_test-1.png] test-1.skp PS: Purge you model before uploading, then it'd be 1/10 the size !

Try this - its the help page on the Podium site. http://www.suplugins.com/index.php?p=page&page_id=Help#Install Oh, and did you restart Sketchup after you installed Podium? That is necessary after installing any plugin.

Thanks for the advice. After all, it would surely look better that way ( but that is only my opinion ). Extruding such curved surfaces is a bit tricky to me anyway. Cheers!

But if you are "replacing" them, it means that you already have them, doesn't it? Then why are you downloading them (again?) at all?

It's a general and well known OpenGL issue. Have a look at this article in the SU Help Centre.

The numbers are the number of points and polygons used "as a hint to decide how much space to pre-allocate to speed up adding points and polygons." It may decrease importing time, it may not. I am not aware of any limit, but I don't know what the result is of using numbers that are very large.

@remus said: Once youve got all that isntalled you first need to check its turned on in the extensions index: windows->preferences->extensions, then check the box that says 'fredoscale.' You then need to turn the toolbar on, you do that by going view->toolbars than selecting 'fredoscale.' Then you can bend and twist away to your hearts deisre That did it! THanks a ton...tools are so nice. They really should have an install instuctions file with those things but oh well im using them fine now so I no longer care keke.

What happens if you turn on View/Hidden Geometry, and then Zoom extents? I think if the edges have been hidden, you could get this result when using a sketchy line style.

Here is what google has to say about using the tape measure tool to resize your component. In your case if you measure any part of the component and type in half that number it should change your 10' component into a 5' component. [image: h2hj_Picture96.jpg]

Hi Darkhelmet, hi folks. Dont use a circle with 4 segments to draw a square. Use the Polygon Tool instead. With a circle, the smoothed properties of the endpoints will be set to true and if you extrude you will have to unsmooth the resulting edges. To get the square to have its sides parallel to axes, rotate it by 45° after drawing it, providing that you also drew the radius parallel to an axis. Just ideas.
