    • Need help with rotate tool

This is the only tool I haven't mastered. I really have a problem with it.

Trying to get something back to normal view. I can get it to go araoun and around,

but my problem is to lean it at an angle. Now if I look at it from the top view all I see

i a blue line my comp is not facing me. Can some one help me out. Looked at all the videos
on the neet on skeychup rotate tool. Still can't figure it out. I can get it to go up and down,
right to left, but in the 3rd direction no way......

I have included the file that i'm trying to fix.

    • How to keep things in proportions

Question i have a component that is 10'x10' and I want to scale it down to 5'x5', how do I go about.

Tried using the scale tool, but no go, like i tried reducing it by 20% and it doesn't work.

Can you do something like that in Sketchup, giving the % you want to reduce or in large.

      Thanks

Not sure if that is what u call it. this is what i'm trying to do, not even sure how to explain.
Trying to raise the skylight 35" with the roof staying in proportions.

I have attached a pic of what i'm trying to do.

Did all the rest but not sure on how to do this part.

      thanks
