True Dave, the default color can go it alone....

As for grey scale variation, If we didn't have variation i think it would shade quite bland IMHO...

I suspect we may have a program with 'discipline specifc extensions'

I never export images, etc from SU with the default face color. In fact if we did this in grey scale without adding additional color to the scene then grey scale would be a constant....

I agree Alan. Afterall, the free version is what has helped Earth become what is its, yeah?

For me, SketchUp has come so far since 6.0 was released. This fine little community and others has added so many ruby, extensions / applications and NPR ideas that a lot of the simple functions of SketchUp are rarely used... [survey of one of course!!]

So what is the least used function of SU?
Flip along Axis is for me.... as well as Fog; don't really use it with so many other options out there....
Outliner too, however some might say I don't know how to use it!!!

That's interesting, it happened to me just last week. Til them i haven't ever experienced it....

All i did was unlink and relink the file and it not longer did it.
