Hey Guys,
For those of you who don't frequent 'pushpullbar'
http://www.pushpullbar.com
takesh_h has put together a great SketchUp source list here:

hope you like......
That should be uploaded to the "funny picture thread" Eric!!!!
You should do that Jon, it opens up a world of possibilities ......
Hey Stan, how about that!!! Your locaiton details are not shown on your profile so I wasn't aware you were so close!!!!
I am working on something at the moment that i will send through for you to have a look at when i get it done. Yes, SPT 16 can import native SU and SU can import native SPT files so makes for easy work flow.....
Hi SEKTA, I use Spirit, a fully parametric 2D/3D architecural program by Softtech STI.
http://www.softtech.com
I is the only program I know that is fully intergrated with SU [imports native SU files and vise versa] and is fully parametric. It took me quite a while to get into it as I am quite remote from where it is produced but the technical support is very personable and immediate!!! Just what i need as a sole operator...
or you could create your own style using Style Builder. This way you can play with the Dropout length and Fade Factor and see what comes of it.....
just more ideas...
It's always nice to hear a positive cancer story... Very happy for you and yoru family 3eighty!!!
Hi Guys, this reminds me of a post I make some time ago to do with a possible ruby that could enhance terrain modelling....
In addition to these great ideas, I would like to see the Stamp Tool be varied to allow for the input of data for each side of the stamp plane.
[see attached]
I know this would help those who work with sloping site immensely; what do you think?
And do you think it be done?

Thanks guys,
I have downloaded Jims' script so will give a try today.
You guys are my super heros!!!!
Thanks Gai, that will work nicely for now....
I'm interested to hear if this is something others see a need for....? I feel it is imperative that Layers have more control in the future by default rather than replying on external 'ruby scripters'. [not that I don't appreciate them!!!!!]
Cheers,
Hey all,
Scenario:
I have multiple pages [scenes] set up; plans elevations, sections all ready to export to Layout. I realise I want to add a dimension to one particular elevation but don't want it shown in the other pages [scenes]. So i add a layer and place the dimension needed on that layer.
Problem:
Now when I view each page, that layer is set to active in all pages so I have to go through each scene and toggle that layer off, update that scene and move on the the next.. pain in the %^&@!#@!!!!
Solution:
??? ANy ideas???
I'm hoping that in future SU has more control over layers specif to a page. Would be hard, LayOut does it!!!
yep, that's how that do it apparently.... Not the most econimical way of doing it but that's the the manufacturer to decide...
Hey guys,
see attached shade sail structure.
I'm having trouble deciding on a way to wrap the fabric over the end of the structure. Would like to know if any of you can come up with another option...
Thanks in advance.
Andrew here.
I find hotkeys are my down fall. 'Right hand on the mouse and left hand jumping around like a headless chicken....'
With my notebook on my lap, it only leaves my knees to steer the car and indicate if i feel the need.
bad hotkeys; very bad...
