I had some brochures from various different furniture outlets, I think that was on a cabinet but I scanned the images and cleaned them up. I have lost most of my materials/textures so I will have to pretty much start from scratch.

Thanks Bryan, there are some things I am still not happy about, like the APC which has changed a few times too. Someday I will settle on an iteration.

Going away for a while. I cannot reconcile the inability to create simple shapes with any kind of intelligent programming. Done for now. I am finding it impossible to make flat armour plate with depth (Extrusion) without corrupt faces everywhere. If it is impossible to do this how cane the product be considered mature and usable? I have decided to invest in Rhino and while I admit it too cannot be perfect I cannot see HOW it can be possible to make flat armour plate, extrude it and have it become unusable or corrupt.

Ta mate, I was measuring my new gaff today and it is less than half the size of this place but with my old cat not being on top form, there is less floor space for him to hide his "Movements"

There is only so much round in the house, I stuck with the 24 segments natively used in Sketchup. The paio doors will not work so will be changed to standard items. Few other problems and nothing that cannot be solved. Just wondered if you meant the structure. There are external pillars around the ground floor, four of them. Each floor level would have a steel skeleton with potentiall concrete block floors but the walls would be composite panels bolting together. The upper floor overhangs the ground floor by about 5 feet.

Thanks guys, I need to alter bump for the walls and tidy a few things up. The problem with small properties is getting a decent angle but that is just adjusting the frame.

1 I am afraid that direct democracy is possible only in local communities, where people know each other eye to eye. I don't think that those in power, those you mentioned would let NET out of their control. Do not forget who created it in the first place. 2 The other problem is - are average people mature enough for democracy? It is not the question of being kind in simple things. That is easy. It is the question of being able to give away of some of the fabricated needs used to buy your vote. The truth is always bitter. "We will bomb somebody far far away, but do not worry about it, it is for their good...and you'll get the part of it, like cheaper gas, better health insurance, a new car, iphone... more human rights so we all be happy! Yeah! Vote for us!" 3 Or like in this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/?ref_=nv_sr_1

@otb designworks said: @mike amos said: I also find the additional reference points when drawing to be a thorough nuisance rather than helping. I have to agree with this statement. I feel like the "improvements" to the inference engine over the last two releases have done nothing but make the modeling process more cumbersome and confusing. I agree with both you and Trimble in this regard. More inferences are very useful but things need to be fine tuned to a point that they work flawlessly. I'll add that some of these inferences are, in fact, only visual cues. Those are, imho, useless.

Will there be a fix soon for for SketchUp 2017 version soon? This plugin is awesome, but it is unfortunate that it is still not working with 2017 yet. Thanks.

Cool! Can you post other views? I'm working with come complex shapes and openings as well, so I can relate. As with all my projects, I'm learning a lot, but it isn't easy.

OK, playing around with the camera settings and fov. Not too crazy about the perspective but the backplate appears better. [image: ihMy_Test327Passes91h27mIr0aClipped.jpg]

I either make my own though the plugin or use bought catalogues. I use mxed app to make them. I never use the material library feature of sketchup. Jason Maranto did process the sorry textures. He created thumbnails that can be used in the material browser in sketchup. Then you use the auto mxm feature to replace them ate render time.

@mike amos said: I have attempted to ask how to make my own lights that will work with twilight render v2 only to be told that they are disinterested in telling me how to do so. I have never experienced this sort of problem before and would like to know if it is unreasonable of me to want to make my own lights. I can make the units fine but when it comes to making them suitable for renders with twilight render v2 I hit a brick wall and the thread is closed. Is this some kind of secrecy issue where they think I am out to steal copywrite or something of is this just another case of them not understanding a simple request and we are all just getting to the point where communication is impossible due to an irrational fear that I will lose them money somehow? All I want to do is make lights that work in twilight render v2 fcs. Mike Amos : If you go to the Twilight Render website, there are tutorials (and guidelines) for lighting. I usually create my own lamps/ lights, then adjust the lighting they produce. I'll try to help you as much as possible. But, I'm not a Pro at this. garystan
