      I am doing a lamp model. Electrical cords are my nemesis. Could somebody please suggest a method to do model Lampcord.pnga believable lamp cord?

        I tend to use Clothworks to run a sim on a divided line...

        ...some proxies to act as colliders and a few pins where I need them.

        You can use HelixAlongCurve to generate coiled wires if that's your thing...

          Then you position your camera inside the helix with a nice DOF and click render with Rayscaper

            Thanks heaps Rich πŸ‘ I do not know why I have an aversion to plugins, to my detriment I expect. Though I will download clothworks but the wait time to receive the plugin did not work with my workflow.

            Did you do the cable with the follow me tool?
            I did not see your post in time, but thank you very much for it. I ended up figuring out my own way which turned out OK. I have attached an image of my methodology which basically was to do a 2d follow me and the slice it and rotate the segment and then join them. Sounds fiddly but in fact was quite easy.
