I also queried it a couple of weeks ago as per your OP. It doesn't code as it is a hard coded restriction (well, at least at the time).
This left me rather disappointed as I thought that creating new extensions would now be a cinche!

The thing that most put me off Thea renderr was the licensing, it just made me think rip off. This annual subscription and monthly subscription thing is something I cannot get used to so went on to buy something I could use in perpetuity.
Sorry if this ruffles feathers, just saying what I see and no doubt folk using it for commercial reasons will be happy enough.
+1

The proper way would btw not simply logging out/in but closing SU/LO inbetween.
This worked for me.

Animator is a very interesting plugin but I do not succeed to record films of the animation.
It seems that FFMpeg does not work correctly.
I obtain numerous images instead of film, and they vanishes when I click record.
Without possibility to record films, animator is less useful.
Is there something to do?
If all else fails, and if you're so inclined, you can composite the myriad images into a film using 3rd party software. Far from ideal, I know, but a workaround.

I didn't but I'll look later. Might be too rustic. I've been using a material from poliigon.com which I thought was close enough but apparently there's someone at the homeowner's association with nothing better to do.
Quote them for the asset creation, make it worth it as it won't be simple. See how serious they are about needing an exact match.

After installing ver 2022. I was going OK. Now I get the attached screen.
It asks me to add a license. I don't remember doing this last upgrades.
I'm curious, why would SUPro2022 ask for a Classic License when it no longer supports it?

Can you refer to a replacement for JointPushPull plugin? I've tried the classic JointPushPull already.
I can't think of any.

Fredo has his bundle here to make bulk purchases easier...
Thanks, purchase made.
SketchUp doesn't like using networked resources. The best I can think of is to set up your library, save it to cloud (or server) space and updated using a 3rd party app, run the same 3rd party app on the other machines pointing to the cloud (or server) space thus ensuring all libraries stay synchronised.
It's worth it to remember that the thermal paste on the CPU & GPU doesn't last forever, it's a good idea to change it every couple of years (3 years if you don't encounter problems in between).

How do you download this extension
Please make some effort before asking questions, the link is on this very same page just 3 posts above yours.

Well, I am installing the new ver. 2022. However, I get the notice, "You have exceeded your allowed activations". I have signed out of ver. 2019, 2020, 2021. Signed in to ver. 2022. However, still get the notice.
I do have the viewer installed on my laptop. But I don't see a place to sign out.
So, what's the problem. I am paid up until 3 Nov, 2022.
Help
You'll probably do better in getting help if you posted this on the official SketchUp forum.

For te record, this is due to a bug introduced by SU2022.
Aaah, why am I not surprised, this happens sooo often when a fresh release is minted.
Have you had a look at S4U StairMaker (currently V5)? Note: it's not free, purchase link in the description of the extension, currently going for $25 I believe.
Err, thanks for not sending an e-mail to all your licensed users that there was an update released...
The LO API, can plugins / extensions be created for it yet? No? What? How many years has it been since this was first mentioned by SketchUp themselves (IIRC). Also, some of the new features to SU, I'm some of them was available in the form of plugins / extensions already, but I'll have to take some time out to check thoroughly though...

Juju, how can I uncorrupt those drivers, or download new ones? My motherboard only has updates for win 8 and earlier, none for win 10.
The win 8 drivers should work in win 10, have you tried them? It's not like you're going to render the USB ports any more useless than it is already.
I suspect that there is something else at play, if all the USB ports stopped working then it seems the drivers for them may be corrupted, the chances of all the USB port hardware going at the same time is extremely slim.
If you have a desktop machine, you should be able to install a riser card with USB ports on one of the PCIE slots.
Once you have this resolved, get two external harddrives that you can backup your machine to, rotate them weekly. Don't keep them in the same place / location. That way, you should never be out by more than week's worth of data should the worst happen.
