Hi Chris, welcome to the forum. I saw your stuff on the "old SU forum" a while ago and have DL'ed some of it for library component use. Thanks for sharing your models with us so freely.

RE: Small Lot Massing Model
TDG4U, thanks for sharing, much appreciated, feel free to share some more if / when you feel like it. Please keep in mind the attachment policy Coen has in place at this time.

RE: Test thread for skp
hahaha, good one (I reckon the image should have read @last or SU, but just as funny just the same). yup, works fine...

RE: Industrial Kitchen Equipment
Hi Shaun, as Bill said seeing the equipment will be a bonus. I just got into the SU thing (although I've used it a little in the past) and having access to industrial kitchen equipment will be great, seeing that one of my clients do a lot "family restaurants" and modelling these accurately will be a big plus.

RE: [Plugin] Ruby Toolbar
ZIM - some toolbars need to be activated under the "view" menu. Have a look to see if this is the case.

RE: [Plugin] menu loader: old thing !
Thx Didier, will have a look to see which I prefer, yours or the adaptation by Max Coppoletta that Alan just made available.

RE: [Plugin] MENUS.rb
Alan, will this work with SU6? Having the the sketchup.rb in the plugins folder causes some errors in SU6 (from what I understand), so it'll have to be removed. Also, some of those scripts are the older versions, I suppose it will be safe to replace them as long as the name is the same, right?

RE: [Plugin] MENUS.rb
Thx Alan, will have alook and see which I prefer between this and the one Didier did originally.

RE: Vray for SketchUp? - A Black Art?
Thx stuart, remember if they are images please put them in the appropriate gallery section, you're welcome to post here as well and just give a link to the gallery topic / post with your images.

RE: Vray for SketchUp? - A Black Art?
bigstick, I think you'll need to clarify that statement. Do you mean that Podium is free as long as you don't want images larger than 640x480 or vice versa?

RE: Vray for SketchUp? - A Black Art?
MR S, I don't know if you've noticed that the rendering forum is in place. Look for the Gallery section from the mainpage, then go to the rendering subsection and head on over to the renderer / topic of choice...

RE: Vray for SketchUp? - A Black Art?
lol Mr S, watch the forum, from what I understand Coen is implementing a section dedicated to rendering. Unfortunately I don't have any answers to your questions w.r.t. V-Ray ATM.

RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] How a Pro Builds a House in SU pt 1
The orange line is the direction where the sunlight is coming from. I use it on all my work to get accurate sun angles.

RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] How a Pro Builds a House in SU pt 1
Edson, what you're saying isn't quite making sense. The idea is to create a plane on which to "texture" the image plan and then trace it. It shouldn't be outside of the plane you created.

RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] How a Pro Builds a House in SU pt 1
Thx for the contribution, however the link you provided for the template isn't working.

Thx for sharing man!

RE: SLow performance in evaluation on Mac?
Hmmm, this doesn't seem normal. I'm not using a Mac, but there are ppl here that do and I've yet to hear them mention something like this, what makes it worse is the fact that it sounds like it is somehow random.
Have you tried reinstalling the software? How many other applications do you have running in the background? (Including antivirus / firewall, any other items).
