Hi

How do I rotate an importet section (dwg) or any other flat object, from laying on ground to stading up ?

I usely draw a 3d-box beside the object, and then use this to rotate via red og green axe. But is there a more simple solution ?

Nice ones

I often raise plans to 3d. This means that the dooropening becomes, well... open.

To fix those openings a script could be helpfull:
Select one of the faces on side of the opening, offset the buttom line by (doorHeight), push-pull the face above the offsettet line until it hit the other side of the opening.

Settings:

• doorHeight

I don't know if its possible to create, just an idéa

Thanks for this very usefull tool. I one question though, would it be possible to use it in Decimal/millimeters ? It seems to use inches, even if my drawing is set to use millimeters

Just found out that the proxy can quite easy manuel be moved to a specific layer.

Ok, the problem is, that VRay 6.0 won't run with my Vista

Turn off a layer would be easy

It would be great if one could select the layer for the proxy in an dropdownmenu.

I have VRayForSketchUp_2008_04_16_1830 installed, and it seems that it has somekind of conflict with Subdivide & Smooth. The objects becomes complete back when converted

There is no problem when using VRayForSketchUp6_1.00, but this wersion won't work on my Vista mashine

I do think that the problem is more vRay related than Subdivide & Smooth.

Hmm, If I don't load VRayForSketchup.rb it works fine. So I must have somekind of conflict

Strange. If I have VRAY for SU loaded I can't use SubSmooth. The object simply turns black when I select "Subdivide and Smooth".....

Any ideas what can be the problem ?
