Ok Daniel, fair enough. But I'll just add this for the benefit of anyone coming after. This is an unlicensed copy of 2018 3 days into its trial and as you see by moving the toolbar to the edge of the workspace it snaps to vertical. [image: Ct9I_Toolbar.gif]

Yeah, that troubleshooter is good at identifying if there is a problem, but can never identify exactly what the problem is, which means its a failure as a troubleshooter. All-in-all, I think Windows 10 is more trouble than it's worth. Makes me glad I didn't upgrade my home computer.

Hello Daniel Some nice historic models here and it seems like you've found a good process with your historic review board. These folks can really be interesting to work with. I had started out doing historic structures as a way to teach myself SU but haven't found access to paying clients yet. Even so, it's grown into a bit of a hobby. Some of my stuff can be found here: http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=81%26amp;t=61430%26amp;start=30 Jim

Andy, Bryan: thanks for the comments. I had included some soldier coursing on the construction documents, but when I added them in the model they seemed pointless. I may have to re-look at that. Bryan, you are correct, the stair tower sets back from the Temperance Hall and the office building to the right. If you move further to the right, or look at it from the left, the stair tower addition is all but obscured (the building on the right extend past the Temperance Hall almost to the sidewalk).

It was odd to see this on the news - it felt more like a unique painting or sculpture being destroyed. Although I've never been to see the building, I (like most people) am pretty familiar with it & particularly fond of the design details. I am quite sure Glasgow School of Art will be restored with every care - the building is held in such esteem by all.

Here in earthquake country, these masonry buildings need massive work just to stay legal. We had a ca 1906 hotel that went a long time boarded up, for lack of any viable development. When the top of the walls begin to crumble, it became a hazard and had to be fixed or destoyed (I think it was water damage to the roof). Someone finally made condos of it for the renovation, and reportedly lost their shirts....But we have the building back and looking nice.w

@daniel said: Thanks for the suggestions. I've already checked for hidden files (no luck) Cannot find an AppDate folder, nor the temp folder suggested. I am contacting the computer gurus who built the machine and set it up; there is an issue with my CAD program, as well. Oh, the joys of a new computer! You can use following variables in startmenu search field: %PROGRAMDATA% %LOCALAPPDATA% %APPDATA% %temp% more http://ss64.com/nt/syntax-variables.html

Thanks for the comments, guys. This is based on my own tiny house. I like the basic arrangement inside, but the 800 SF is a bit too confining at times (especially for a book lover). [image: IsAe_100_1885aa.jpg] Modelhead: I'm hoping on successive designs, hence the "1". This has helped me to work out some details. Kurt: looking good, show us more. Eric: Thanks for the compliment. The fascia is 6". I'm debating on wether or not to add gutters. In studying the prairie style, I noticed the fascia on some appear rather thin in relation to the building. Roger: I like the idea of having overhangs wide enough to protect open windows. Now, onto the interior.

I can see your point. Engineers often haven't a lot of creativity and sensitivity when it comes to restorations.
