Thanks, guys. Scott, I doubt I will model the surrounding buildings, our design budget will not allow it, and I have another element of this project to design and model. I MIGHT use photos of the neighborhood for background, if I can get some decent ones.

Thanks for the nice comments. I placed the camera too close for such a tall building; how's this? Unfortunately, some of the detail is lost. Dylan, your correct the foreground leaves much to be desired (the whole site, really). It should be gravel, but the texture I used was tiling too much. Eventually, I plan on modeling more Williamsburg models and I will put the courthouse in a more appropriate context. The trees, rendering are Vue Infinite. [image: 1wqZ_CourthouseLeft3.jpg]

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. It is a nice restoration project, as most of the exterior and interior are intact; but it is loaded with all kinf=ds of code problems (not least of which is that hideous handicap ramp in front). Modelhead, I might take you up on that offer if I can get some decent photos of the stone. My boss was/is under the impression that that rough stone texture has to be modeled! Right now I have to set this aside and work on other more pressing projects, though.
