If page numbering ever happens in LO you might be given the option to add prefixes to your page numbers. This is possible to do in InDesign and you could arrange page numbers exactly as you have described below - with a chapter number prefix for the type of drawing (1 for site plan, 2 for floor plan, 3 for section etc) and then the page numbers could be generated as you add pages. Its a really handy feature of indesign and would be really handy in LO - but as Gaieus said this has been asked for many times, just hoping that if its said enough the next release of LO might include this feature and save me having to manually do it!

I'm not quite sure I understand the question but the one with the box samples the actual values SU is using whereas the monitor one samples whatever pixel color happens to be on your screen at the time. -brodie

I've posted to the RenderIN website as well this issue is a complete problem for windows users. Has RenderIN made a fix for this to anyones knowledge?

'Transmutr' is a standalone application (not a plugin for SU.) See below for a comparison of various VW export/SU import approaches. Many of them fail to include the line work, so I've shown the results in both SU 'Default Style' and 'Hidden Line' to illustrate. I feel like Transmutr is the way to go, at least at present.

Bugsplat is a little program (not from Google) that tries to get useful information on a crash before Sketchup is completely closed. So the Sketchup developers may have some hints in the bug report where the error might be.

I bet you where going to tell me to put a file called DEFPARAM_Dir in there, well I have, i read that else where, maybe TBD actually told me. so its working ok. Is Putting plugins in the Users/Library/Application Support/SketchUp7/Sketchup/Plugins something new to look out for?? - so once it doesn't work in usual place put it here?? see if it works fantastic plugin by the way I'm using it already and its only 10 minutes old. get in.

thanks G, that has worked! great! although I was dragging and dropping from the mix menus before, only until i opened a new window started again - loading my style again - mixed it up - did it work. I did the same thing last night. hey its worked. i'll post the style when i've met my deadline.
