        Chris,

It would help to know the exact text of the whole message, as well as which importer you were trying to use at the time. And are we talking Free or Pro?

False alarm, I was trying to import files that didn't have the right file name. sorry for the anxious tone to the post. my sketchup life flashed before me as I'd never seen that before. all is well now, apologies for the blip.

Could you upload a dwg file that display that message here to the forum for us to look at?

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

hi, this morning i tried to import a .dwg file to sketch up and this warning appears instantly: "warning, importer not found". I need to fix it quickly.
                thanks.
I'm running sketch up pro 8 on Mac osx 10.9, and the .dwg file is 2010.

As a Pro user you can contact SketchUp help and provide your license info and they can help you fix it quickly.

Same problem here. Is it a problem with Mavericks compatibility? Any solutions yet?

my guess is it is related to Maverics... this never happened to me before... this is disastrous!!

validate that this is a real DWG (and not another format with a renamed file extension) by opening in the free Teigha Viewer f. Mac OS X v10.6+.

                        hth,
