I recall others posting here that exporting from SU to 3D .dxf will give you the "true" arcs and not line segments.

Sounds like you may have a problem with the 3Dxware (3D Connexion Software)
Since you originally installed 32 bit version of the viewer it could be that 3DConnexion 64 bit failed to recognize it.
Just a guess though............maybe you could ask on the 3DX forums?
Or try uninstalling and reinstalling the 64bit version of 3DxWare?

Initially I downloaded .rbz to desktop and through SU.....window....preferences....extensions....install(ed) extension.......rbz
Note:I did not uninstall SCF V4.4 prior either. (figured it would just overwrite)
SU did not Bugsplat at this point, however, the options available were the same as in SCF V4.4 and for this reason I closed and re-launched SU.....and immediate Splat.
I Then tried manual install by renaming the .rbz to .zip and deleted SCF folder and SCF ruby file from the 2016 plugins folder, and dragged the contents of the .zip to 2016 plugins folder........launch produced same splat.

First......I am very grateful for all of the plug ins you create and maintain for the community!
I do not use many plug ins myself.......but one I have used for many years now is the section cut face.
I see you have made some nice changes to this so I downloaded and installed V6.0 today.
Surprisingly I immediately got a bug splat after install, and sent the report in.
MS Win7Pro
64-bit OS
Intel i3-2100CPU 3.1GHz
8.0 GB ram
I have since reinstalled V4.4
Just thought you should know.....not sure what the cause could be.

I am following this thread as I too have interest in the MS surface book.
I have heard the display resolution may be problematic for SU, though info is scant.
Anyway, sorry I could not be of more help.
PS, I also heard if you have a MS Store nearby, they may install software (SU) on a store machine for you to test it out..........again though.........info is scant on this as well.

Could be a graphics card issue too........might try disabling hardware acceleration under preferences........though I am just guessing that is/was an option in V5.

Are you setting up a scene for each set of active sections?(Please see .skp attached.)
The green sections represent active sections and the red represent inactive sections.
(I only did 16 buildings...but you should get the idea...click on tabs to navigate)

I don't do much in the way of landscape.....but I do occasionally add some plantings for color.
Recently I have experimented with the opacity settings (leaves/buds/etc.) and found that to give a nice "light" look/feel to the plants. (within a sketchy style)

You may also try un-hiding the section cut lines.(of the section cut face geometry)
of course as long as you don't mind them showing.

PS...do you have both the group from slice and the section curt face "on" at the same time?
I would try just the section cut face "on" with the lines showing. (turn off the group from slice)

Yes, Z fighting will occur regardless of layer/group/component.
TIG has a plugin that creates a section cut "face".
That is what I,and many others use create a plan like the one you show.

Just a wild azz guess on my part:
I see you are on a Mac....no big deal.......but I am not familiar with the interface.... as I am on Windows.
That said.......your page #1 is the cover sheet.....correct?
This shouldn't matter.......but in case it does.......please try exporting page #2 to page #2 and report back. (please)
Maybe there is a glitch of some kind not recognizing the cover sheet as page #1?

Where are you pressing OK?
Enter the page to-from (same page# for single page)......or the page range.... and select export.

Not sure why.......but I have noticed on my machine.......the "from" page selection will often revert (to page 1) upon selection of the "to" page selection.
IOW......if I first select "from" page #3.......and want to only export page #3.........I then select "to" page #3.......when I look back at the**"from"** selection.........It has reverted to page #1.........and after changing this to page #3 (a second time) it will then remain.......and export as I wish

I can't speak to OS X Yosemite.......as I am windows only.
I do recall a number of years back when working with a very large file (w/lots of scenes), I attempted an animation export.....and it would fail due to a limitation of either system memory and or file limitation.
So, have you tried exporting just two scenes? (assuming you have several)
