Also explode same curve and use the Smoove tool on it. A 20' radius worked well on the example.

      Gata,
Clever use of the smoove tool, never occured to me to try it,Thanks :~)
This is great collaboration, gotta love it.

Charlie, that is great. I never knew you could add grips to a welded curve. Good tip.

Thanks Eric..........But as the saying goes, every now and then a blind squirrel finds a nut.

Thought I would share just a slightly different approach than already posted.
I was confounded by this very thing just a couple days ago,and here is an approach I used.
The "Grips" I beleive allow for a little more flexability in adjusting the path.

    • RE: Failed to Save ...2D Image Export

      Thanks Brad!
      FWIW
I spent just a little time experimenting yesterday with a simple cube, exporting to .tif
Seems if you export using any of the standard camera positions [front/side/ etc.] I could get almost twice the pixel width versus iso view.

    • RE: Failed to Save ...2D Image Export

      Hey, Thanks Gai
I was wondering if it were hardware, but even a simple cube will cause the failed to save. Annnd this occurs on both my desktop and laptop [although on slightly different pixel exports]
Anyone care to try and duplicte on their machine?

    • Failed to Save ...2D Image Export

      Anyone else experience this:
On Export of 2D image, with Anti Alias off, at various pixel width, a failed to save message appears.
I can export to a maximum as follows:
      .jpg 6800 pixels wide.
      .png 2000 pixels wide.
      .tif 1800 pixels wide.
      Best,
      Charlie

      Convexhull:
Is this simply a cube (re-assinged to covexhull)and the form adjusted as necessary?
Forgive me if I have missed something obvious.
