Frankly I like the trays very much and I don't find them clunky at all. They keep the utility windows out of the drawing space and with custom trays, they can be organized into smaller groups if desired. The tray can be moved to a second screen for those who like that although I prefer to keep them on the same screen so I can use the second display for reference files and other applications. I laid out SketchUp in much the same way keeping my drawing window slightly narrower than the full screen and the utility windows stacked outside to the right. The bonus for me with the tray is gaining additional real estate for toolbars at the top.

Richard, we've been making s'mores for decades before the obesity problem hit us. I think the real culprit is inactivity (too much time watching TV or sitting in front of the computer, not enough activity).

That's an amazing take on the problem! In this way the single window pane can become a component to copy around the building... (and it takes care of material and uv settings too!) What would be the perfect distance between glass pane tho?

A kind of "structural glass" ("vetro strutturale" in italian) maybe?

Having said all that, my own marginally functional table. It's off the floor with a 3 1/2" high by 2 1/2" recessed toe space, and the pullout probably needs a caster at its tip.[image: 3R6A_Temp00.png]

mitcorb, thanks for the heads up. I had to change my location in Windows, in that way I got to disply Sketchup in Italian... It is a bit strange tho I have to go through all this to have it in my original language... oh well, at least I know I can switch to and from English at will goodnight everybody!

I believe this is a fault with the Logitech drivers. I use a Logitech mouse on all my Macs and do not use their software and never have this problem. As for the Apple mouse (which I personally hate but I am glad someone likes them ) I would look at what the settings for the mouse are in the Apple control panel. I recall there being a setting for chording (multiple buttons pressed at once) as well as settings for individual buttons that can be set to specific actions.

Good looking render. Just the roof material and the post material seem to stick out. I'd be fooled if it wasn't for them.
