Any new about this? I'm sure it will be a game changer!

Importing obj models or large stl files to SketchUp
Hello there! I've written a post explaining an easy way to import obj models or large stl files to SketchUp. Hope you like it!

Hey, that looks great !! - is this a SubD test or any real project? This one is just a test but I have to do something similar. I'll try to post the final model once it's done.

I don't know but, if you would like to post a SU2014 sample of what you are referring to, I will test it.
Ok, thank you so much! I've uploaded a sample here:

Something like this?
That looks really nice! Does it work distributing non-coplanar vertices/edges?

No, but I did ask Thomthom to add this to SUbD because some type of relax is needed.
First of all I have to say I can't write a single line of code, but I think it could fit better including this feature in Vertex Tools. You should be able to select a single loop and distribute the distances between its vertices, makes sense?

Is it possible to distribute vertices uniformly?
Well, that's the question: Is it possible to distribute the vertices from a quad mesh uniformly? I mean if is there a way to avoid doing it manually or starting again from zero. Is there any extension to convert the right mesh into the left mesh?

How many time the subdivision itself ? Negligible or...
There's two subdivisions and it took about 2 mins to complete the process.

did you model one groove, component it and copy it in revolving fashion, then explode them before subdividing??
You nailed it. That's exactly what I did

hello guys,. I have installed this plug-in on ver.8 SKetchup all seems working the only problem i encountered is that the Z-depth has no depth literally its a same image as the alpha..
Hi there,
you only have to change a little the default values for distance in the fog floating window ( window > fog ) and it's done -
RE: [Extension][$] CompoScene v2.0.2 (Updated)
Hi there!
First of all, thanks for your great work. The thing is, will Su[Ch] come to SketchUp 2014? I usually use 2014, but I have yet installed SketchUp 2013 just for this plugin

Greetings and regards.

The toolbars are stored in the registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\Plugins_ae\ToolbarEditor.
You can copy and paste it in the same key on another SketchUp installation or version. You can also use the File β Export functionality of the registry. I'm not sure whether I should add an export button to each of my plugins, I hope SketchUp will provide an efficient and central place to migrate settings.Thank you for your response! Greetings!

RE: [Plugin] ToolbarEditor (1.1.2) β updated 08.06.2014
Thank you so much Aerilius!
It could be nice to export custom toolbars to a *.dat file to get the same toolbars in other computers. Is there any way to do anything like that?
Greetings!
