It might seem like a simple question to you, but I fear that something is lost in translation... What is 'Quotation' ? Please explain it more clearly, including the context - tool, the steps you are taking etc... and I'm sure one of us will be able to help you...

Further to this, you will notice that on animation of the bottom drawer, all move. To correct this the animation must be moved to inside the copy. Hence another level is created. My reason to ask about your interest in DCs is to guide you in your development. Although internal copies has its merit it also has many drawbacks, in that it greatly increases file size and becomes more complicated in structure, as are becoming aware. What "simple gird" function are you looking for? I assume you mean GRID. From your screen shot it looks like you are asking about the grids for the Clothworks extension. The Clothworks grid options are show at the top of the last flyout menu. If you are referring to something else, please be more specific. And as Juju please update your profile so we can more easily help you.

What extension are you trying to install? How did you try to install it? What version of SketchUp are you using? Your profile says it's 2019 Free/Make but that's impossible because there is no such version.

Can you be more specific about what is happening? Maybe upload a GIF that shows what it is doing? Without more information we can only guess. Two common issues are, 1: incorrect installation. On Windows machines SketchUp must be installed by right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator. And b: graphics driver problem. What graphics card are you using with SketchUp? Maybe the drivers need an update. If it's an integrated GPU, it could be that a broken driver was pushed with a Windows update. That's not uncommon. Best is to go to the GPU manufacturer's site and download their most recent drivers to install.

I don't know of any extensions that will "tween" objects. You could create an animation using Fredo's Animator extension https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=401 or if not too complex Sketchup scenes.

But just a thought tough. Do you think its possible to change the script from “cutlist 4.1” that it would add the “Definition” of the DC component to its subcomponent’s “definition”? A variation to add to this post. This window does not use a dummy frame to aid placement. Instead, The window component is exploded straight after insertion. Each cutting sub-component and the window itself has a red 'Gizmo' as part of the component. These are placed away from the wall so they can be selected more easily. All the gizmos are occupying the same position. Now, by selecting the gizmos, the window plus it's wall cutters can all be moved together. The gizmos are on a layer (Tag) of their own and this can be turned off when not required. I have added a simple setting out range for bricks, in this case 225mm for a brick and one mortar joint. Using this, windows & doors etc. can be set out to make the bricklayers' life easier!
