Open the group that the "hole" is in and pick the edges of the hole, then from sandbox tools select from contours. It should generate the "triangles" as needed to fill in the hole.

Yes. Download RBZ archives for each extension - from the PluginStore here at SCF, or if not available here look in the EWH... In v2017 you use the menu item: Window > Extension Manager Click the red button to automatically install the RBZ's contents for you... There are a few 'Pro-only' extensions, but these are clearly indicated in their info details... Also note that some extensions require a helper 'Lib' RBZ installing - again it's clearly stated in the details...

For the avoidance of doubt... You should not be running SketchUp itself as the administrator - although as an ordinary user you can have administrator powers. The SketchUp exe file properties should also NOT be reset to 'always run as administrator', as this elevates SketchUp's process above that of Windows Explorer, creating unexpected issues. You MUST install SketchUp properly. Doing it in other ways leads to unexpected and unpredictable issues - the errors you see are indicative of an incorrect installation. Please follow these steps carefully. Close SketchUp. Find the SketchUp installer's exe file - probably in your Downloads folder ? Select its icon. Right-click > Context-menu > "Run as administrator" When prompted choose "Repair" When you restart SketchUp it should be installed correctly and avoid these errors. However, if it does not try this... Close SketchUp. Find the folder: C:/Users/Marianne/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2017/SketchUp/Plugins/ The users AppData path is hidden, but is accessible. Go up one level and select the Plugins folder's icon. Right-click > Context-menu > Properties > Security [tab] > Edit [button] Ensure all of the groups/users listed have the "Full control" [topmost permission] checked. I don't know about a plugin but i think you can just double click the face inside to select related geometry and Ctrl+Move upwards to make a copy, then make it group and move downwards. Then you can hide/unhide the group as you wish. (Also you can delete the geometry (edges created) on terrain mesh)

Hi All, Thanks again for all your input I was away and couldn't get back to you until now. I worked out what the problem was and found the file with thanks to Tigs instructions. All sorted. I was then able to open sketchup without the pop up window opening. Thanks Luke

Mike, You should put your own custome collections in the User directory and not in the applications. You can access collections from the materials window on the Mac. I'll make some screen shots showing how when I get home and have access to my Mac. d

I found I offset the image by 1mm does work, of course, but the graffiti image did not show up in SU therefore I assumed it would not show up in the render if it did not show up in SU. I have attached images showing firstly the view in SU and the result of that same view in the render.

I was setting up SketchUp for years with the utility windows stacked on the right outside of the drawing window so the tray thing mimics my old setup with the added benefit of a little more toolbar space across the top. I found it incredibly annoying to have the windows covering the modeling space. Keeping them outside the modeling space eliminates that. +1 I don't know if you guys are using make or pro, but every new version of Sketchup, even if it doesn't bring a whole new set of features, represented a significant improvement for me, mainly because of Layout, but still an improvement that I can appreciate.
