Which version of 2? Earlier versions had this bug. Make sure you have the latest update. Also, I HIGHLY recommend all V-Ray users to upgrade to 2015. The 64 bit version resolves a lot of memory crash issues we were having in the confines of 32 bit SketchUp.

1- Version of SketchUp? 2- Version of V-Ray? 3- Have you tried to install all Windows Updates and reboot. Sounds crazy but I do get this issue sometimes and this resolves it, especially when my machine has been on for days or weeks.

Hi again, Yes, I've got 64bit OS and SU, I use RT GPU CUDA for rendering. I've changed Dynamic Memory Limit to '0' and it helped a bit but I'm still not able to make more than 1920x1080px image. I've tried to render to VRimage and still the same problem. I turned of default displacement too. No idea what else can I fix. If you think there's any other solution, please help me.

I see what you are saying now. Yeah, I think you need to manually put each material on the same ID color. Also try to render out ObjectID - this might give you a channel of that proxy.

1 - Try adjusting your field of view setting for your SU camera 2- Most arch renders use 2pt perspective try turning this on (only works with latest VR) 3- Look at photography and study how they make good perspectives. Its all about composition. Google "Rule of Thirds" for starters. Good source of images both real and rendered to see how perspective views are composed. http://www.archdaily.com/

well... i think you can animate objects with plugins like SketchyPhysics and i think you can render SketchyPhysics' animations with other renderers like Thea or Twilight i've never seen anyone render that kind of animations with Vray, but im a basic Vray user, so i dont know good luck, i guess some of the more experienced guys in this forum may have a better advice

Smustard has some. They are old plugins, but I think they still work. http://www.smustard.com/script/PresentationBundle2

You have to check if you painted your glass on the front face or on the back face of your window. Then you must also check what is the material on the front face. If you click on the face of window and look at the entity info what materials do you see there? The left square is front face, the right square is the back face. Then: If your glass is in the back face, try assigning it to the front face too. If the front face is unpainted (double color material) you might have assigned a material to the component/group where the glass face is inside and you should remove that material assigned to the group/component by painting it with the default material. Do that for every group component in the model that is nesting the window. From now on you should assign materials directly to faces unless you know what you're doing.

Even using ThomThoms Vray Toys, as long as you are clicking Get Aspect before rendering. It will match SU exactly. If you are not in the latest 2.0, than turn off 2 point. I use a SU export every time I render and I have never had a problem matching the views.

to render in a parallel projection mode, you need to have the vray physical camera disabled. Otherwise, you will have perspective convergence (however slight) in your render.

It was recommended million times: check sub-pixel mapping and clamp output; uncheck reflective caustics.

you have to have the nodes specified in the settings ahead of time. You can't add DR nodes to the list of nodes we look for, on the fly, but you can fire those nodes up on the fly and they will be included in the render process. Not sure if we re-check nodes after we are told they are busy though.
