Now I know that I can share the link with Fredo6 on the Animator thread so he can download the file and look at it (to hopefully identify the problem I have been having trying to generate a video). You might also try generating an Animator video and see what results you get.

    Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

    Hey Mike, I'm sure you figured this out already, but when you first create the attribute type a number with the inch mark like 0" or 0' in the value box and hit enter. This will set the unit for that attribute to inches. This only works for the first time a value is entered. After that first initial value, you will need to use the attribute info dialog to make changes. In addition, you can use 0 to set it to text (not "Default: Text") and 0cm to set it to centimeters. If anyone knows a shortcut for setting the unit to Decimal Number, I would love to hear it!

    In fact my error was to "Import" the file and not "Open"! (cube of the first post who was not a component) So it was automatically transformed in a componnent! (doh of the day for me) In fact seems you are not obliged to Edit the Component! Just Erase the Geolocalisation and save file seems sufficient... or maybe not if many different localisations are possible in a same file? Thanks for have found the trick!

    I can see that might be a problem to have the box checked when there's no watermark. It may be expecting to save an image which it can't find.

    Has there been any headway made with the mac toolbar situation? Has someone come up with a plugin that helps or is there now a way to group together the separate toolbars (the top custom toolbar line just isn't enough)

    For me Save as component (once you've set it where it goes in the master model)works well. .. as noted above. Just be aware of anything you do with the axes for that component.

    I've been looking for an answer to this issue, and this post is as close as I could get. How can I show the volume of a component in the Component Attributes window? It seems to be available in Attribute Reporting and in the Entity Info window, but I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to the CA window. Once I have the volume, I hope to calculate a cost for that volume. I have the cost per a determined UOM and can figure out how to convert it. Thanks

    There's no need to copy to a new file? Just use Align Camera as I told you. It works just fine. As for the "red light inside the model", to what are you referring? SketchUp doesn't put any sort of lights inside. The only option for lighting in SketchUp comes from the sun. Upload the model or at least show a screenshot. Give us something to help you with.
