@Rich-O-Brien Thanks Rich. Now I know that I can share the link with Fredo6 on the Animator thread so he can download the file and look at it (to hopefully identify the problem I have been having trying to generate a video). You might also try generating an Animator video and see what results you get.

Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

Hey Mike, I'm sure you figured this out already, but when you first create the attribute type a number with the inch mark like 0" or 0' in the value box and hit enter. This will set the unit for that attribute to inches. This only works for the first time a value is entered. After that first initial value, you will need to use the attribute info dialog to make changes. In addition, you can use 0 to set it to text (not "Default: Text") and 0cm to set it to centimeters. If anyone knows a shortcut for setting the unit to Decimal Number, I would love to hear it!

Thanks for the reply. Last update was in 2016. Does it still work? What render engines/software/plugins does it wor with? Does anyone have any examples that can be viewed (other than the one in the video)?

Point clouds are normally displayed as guidepoints. As long as you don't delete guides they should remain visible. You can combine them into a component or group and give the group a tag. Then you can control whether the point cloud is visible in a given scene.

Oh jeez, turns out I already have it installed. Now that's embarrassing Now all I gotta do is figure out how to use it. I'm not too hopeful, but I'm gonna give it my best shot. Thanks, happy holidays! [image: CYma_THRUPAINT.png]

I presume you have looked at udnet? https://www.undet.com/undet-products/sketchup-plugin-for-3d-modeling-from-point-cloud/ It's pricey at 500/yr but there is a trial for 14days. I'd watch the videos first to see what transforms it can do.

Well, since you are using SketchUp as a hobbyist, maybe sticking with what you have will work fine for you.

Drag the floating toolbar by its top part into the top area or the left, and it should 'dock'.

It should automatically go to the bottom right if you remove it. Drag the Measurements window back into Customize Tool Palettes window. If it still doesn't show right click on the bottom edge of the SketchUp window. On the PC you can tick Measurements to make it show. If you installed SketchUp correctly it should just be there, though. Now that you've updated to 2023, please update your forum profile.

Thanks for sharing. It is both hilarious and sad. So many basics that should be included instead of messing with things like the icons.

You can get the English and German versions here. I don't know of a source for any other languages. Keep in mind that none of the web-based features (3D Warehouse, Extension Warehouse, Add Location, etc.) support SU2019.

@setiyo95 You have a license shown for Fredo's Round Corner Fredo Corner is a different extension and needs a separate license, additional to the 'bundled set'. I suspect you are trying to install/license one extension with the other license ??

Try a different browser. Looks to me like a javascript blocker or similar might be causing an issue.

It happens when I rotate and apply the objects as seen in the picture. I also reduced the number of segments. [image: IH4Y_test_ecati.JPG] shape-bender-test_ecati.skp

Both can be imported. Skimp would be a good paid option as it traps or missing missing relative texture links. Other the OBJ importer included in QuadFace Tools
