Definitely being too hard on yourself. You should have seen my first models. You don't even want to know how many years it took me just to get to intermediate. Some people have a knack, I had to slog, but I also had lots of great help from the folks around here. I still can't do organics or advanced texturing worth a damn.

Hi. Thank you for the comments. I have developed a special liking for black background. It gives lesser strain to the eyes. I have changed the back ground of my word documents to black. Initially I used white text on black. With a lot of text, it also was giving strain. Now I changed the text to 20% grey. It looks perfect. But has to be careful while taking print outs. It is a good idea to give various textures and colors to indicate different stress levels. Will try it soon. Thanks.

Wow, 259MB!!! While I admire your incredible attention to detail, you might consider figuring out how to make do with using a component for the rope vs groups. After all, unless the rope is glued to the beam, would it really follow every contour of the beam? The way CGArchitect does it. You see thumbnails and click for a larger image and more information. I really think that's missing here. And the slides format in the official Gallery here doesn't provide clean enough frames for images. Anybody else?
