            Thanks,

I have had some problems working out the scale so thats why some doors and elements are not in proportion. However have now found some great detailed plans so it should all be cleared up by the next image pass this evening.

                  Again, nice work. πŸ‘

I am a little curious. Seems you have a lot of detail here. When you orbit the model while you are working on it, do you get "lags". As my models increase in complexity, when I orbit them, the kind of go into "wire frame" for a second or two.

Its not as detailed as you may imagine, the cargo nets, railings, vents are all components so the render time is much quicker. I also have quite a powerful PC (Overclocked i7, 16GB or DDR3 and a GTX 980ti GPU).

Most of my models are repeated components it really helps with the render time. That said a lot of my SU models will run between 100-200MB, a lot of geometry and lots of slowdown: http://static1.squarespace.com/static/56191b03e4b058853bdbfa1e/56191c6de4b049990b71ecb3/561c4224e4b09f2277b76307/1459766931808/?format=2500w

Will be so elaborated than your HMS Belfast MK2? 😎

I imagine this one will be much more detailed, I think the look is deceiving because of so much flat geometry but I plan on adding much more details.

The eventual plan is to do a cutaway with labels similar to this but better:http://www.okino.com/images/gd_lcs_platform_cutaway_1k.jpg

Anyway last pic before bed, more tomorrow I hope.

Very nice. Are you going to add some aircraft to the flight deck?

looking at pictures of the actual ship, the bottom of the hull is dark gray, not orange (or red, like the designer's original renderings)
