I had something similar happen once with a very large pdf export. Since then I break my construction documents into smaller sets...floor plans, elevations, etc. each with their own LO file. This really helps with organization and helps if you only need to send out a couple portions of the specific set. That said, the way I fixed the problem, was a did a "Save as" to the file to preserve the original copy. On the copied file, I removed the pages that were problematic. I then inserted blank pages in the locations of the sheets removed. I then copy pasted from the original files all the page specific information to the new blank sheets. This doesn't take very long and is worth a try as it worked for me. After that, I never tried to make my LO files typically more than 8 sheets max.

to clarify what I was pointing out... any filename includes the path, and yours contains ../SPYKER_2:06/.., with the 2 and the 0 separated by a colon... then Steve and I chat about how some apps cope with what is considered by Apple the only 'illegal' character. Change the colon and all should work... john

If you do NOT have the Edge Extensions option ticked in the Style, then there should be none shown - no matter what the number is in its box. Ensure you update the desired Style[s] and that the linked SKP is reloaded in the Layout document.

Remember that unlike SketchUp, layer order matters in LO.

Depending on what you're drawing you can set the linetype to "Vector", the guide lines will not show then. Hope that helps, cheers!!

Thankyou, I can see myself using auto-text quite a bit. Now I can put autotext items anywhere on the page. I suspect this will work with view labels too.

casca - can you elaborate or re-phrase "Go to Nvidia or ATI settings and force LO one of the apps those devices deal with."

If you have a drawing at 1:100, and want to scale it to 1:200, just drag a marquee around all the symbols, excluding the viewport, and scale it by .5. Text, unfortunately, will have to be changed manually. Do not group before scaling, or you'll loose all layer info. Once that is done, you can re align all annotations with the viewport. If some dims and notes "stick" to the viewport, you can break that link by cutting and pasting the offending viewport.

glad you got it back... the 'main' window frame isn't obvious in the LO plist, if it was, you could have removed only it and kept any other settings... I do that with the SU plist in a couple of plugins...

Could you share an example LO file that shows this problem? I do this frequently in LayOut and have never had any difficulty with it.

No. You can save custom LayOut templates you might have made but not toolbar locations. You really ought to upgrade to SketchUp 2015, though.
