      Hello,

I have imported a model into Layout, but when I dimension it, the dimensions are not correct. I have not had this problem before. I have tried re-linking and also re-importing the model, but get the same, incorrect dimensions.

In this same LO file, I also have had problems after importing the SU file getting it to display the scene as saved, in terms of view, layer visibility and style. None of these corresponded with what showed in the saved SU scene.

Any ideas what is wrong (or what I am doing wrong!) gratefully received.

      best regards, Sally

You probably know all these suggestions, but I'll mention them anyway:- It always seems these type of problems are because the scene isn't saved fully/correctly in SU. Have you checker all the 'properties to save' options in the Scenes window? After that, make sure the SU file is resaved before you go back to LO & update the file reference.

Re: dimensions - have you set the scale up under the SU model tab?

          Hi Emerald,

thanks, as simple as that? The LO file scale was 1:100, when I changed the scale to 1:100 on the SU model view panel in LO on ORTHO, the measurements were correct. I don't remember ever having to do this before though, and I've done a lot with LO! Oh well, happily I noticed the dimensions were wrong, otherwise it might have been a nightmare!!

The scene was saved correctly, so I don't know what happened there, but it is now saving correctly, I think it might have been to do with an imported model and its imported layers....but thanks for taking the time to help, all sorted now πŸ˜„
